As a graduation requirement for the School of Library and Information (SLIS) at Wayne State University, each masters student is to submit a portfolio. The portfolio includes an essay reflecting upon his or her studies, experience, and growth as a student and information professional, resume, and specified artifacts from coursework. This portfolio depicts my technical writing skills, fulfillment of School of Library and Information Science’s Student Learning Outcomes, and commitment to the profession.
